The Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office, in partnership with the Dispute Resolution Center, today announced the creation of a robust, survivor-centered restorative-justice program. Under the program, crime survivors will be given a choice as to whether they want a case to proceed through the traditional criminal legal system—or whether they want to opt for restorative justice as an alternative.
