County Prosecutor Public Forum

The Washtenaw County Democratic Party hosted this public forum with the three current candidates for County Prosecutor, to be voted on in the August 2020 Democratic party primary. Candidates responded to questions from the audience, including one from John Gourlay about keeping and sharing data/metrics. This was held on January 4, 2020, at the county’s Learning Resource Center in front of a large live audience.

Washtenaw County Prosecutor Candidates Forum, 10/19/2019

The three current candidates for Washtenaw County Prosecutor, to be voted on in the August 2020 Democratic party primary, respond to questions from WHPR radio 88.1 “Heart to Hearts” program co-host Nate Frazier as well as a few audience questions at the end. This discussion was held on October 19, 2019, at the county’s Learning Resource Center in front of a live audience of at least 100 people.

Criminal Justice in Michigan: Directions for Change

The presentation, panel discussion, and question-answer session addressed issues such as cash bail, use of restorative justice practices, and the role of prosecutors.
